EURL UKIYO 264 rue de Lancrel, 61000 Alençon, France Email: contact@ukiyowatches.com

2. Data processed

When you use the contact form, UKIYO receives your name, email address, the watch model concerned and your message.

When a commercial relationship begins, UKIYO may also process data needed for quotations, orders, payment, invoicing, delivery and after-sales service: identity, postal and telephone details, billing and delivery addresses, communication history, quotations and invoices, bank-transfer information, ordered model, serial number, warranty card and service records.

UKIYO never asks for your online-banking credentials or access codes. Payment is made by bank transfer to the account supplied by UKIYO.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Data is used to:

  • answer enquiries and prepare quotations, on the basis of pre-contractual steps requested by you;
  • manage orders, payments, manufacture, delivery, guarantees and after-sales service, for performance of the contract;
  • create and retain accounting and tax documents, to comply with legal obligations;
  • prevent non-payment, secure communications and defend UKIYO’s rights, on the basis of legitimate interests;
  • respond to rights requests and legally authorised public bodies, to comply with legal obligations.

Contact-form data is not used for newsletters or advertising.

4. Recipients

Pierre Lainé is currently the only person within UKIYO who reads enquiries received at contact@ukiyowatches.com.

Where necessary for their role, data may be shared with essential providers: hosting and email provider, bank, accountant, carrier and transport insurer, technical providers, professional advisers and legally authorised authorities.

They receive only data necessary for their role.

5. Hosting and international transfers

The website and email service use Hostinger services. The contracting entity stated for customers established in the European Union is Hostinger International Limited, established in Cyprus.

Some providers may use subprocessors outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers must be protected by a recognised mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Further information may be requested at contact@ukiyowatches.com.

6. Retention periods

  • Enquiries not leading to an order: no longer than three years after the prospect’s last contact.
  • Data required for the order and service: for the contractual relationship, then in restricted archives for as long as necessary to establish rights and obligations.
  • Invoices and accounting documents: ten years under legal requirements.
  • Data required for a dispute: for the proceedings and applicable limitation periods.
  • Data-subject requests: as long as needed to process the request and evidence the response.

At the end of the relevant period, data is deleted or moved to restricted archives where a legal retention duty remains.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where applicable, you may also give instructions for your data after death.

To exercise your rights, email contact@ukiyowatches.com and specify your request. Proof of identity will be requested only where there is reasonable doubt about your identity.

You may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL: https://www.cnil.fr.

8. Security

UKIYO uses technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risks to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. As no system can offer absolute security, confirmed incidents are handled in accordance with applicable obligations.

9. Contact form

The form collects name, email address, watch model and message. Submissions are sent to contact@ukiyowatches.com and are not intended to be stored in WordPress. This configuration must be checked after any change to the form or its plugins.

Do not include sensitive data or unnecessary banking information in your message.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

During the check performed on 11 August 2026, no audience-measurement or advertising tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads or Meta Pixel were detected on the contact page, and no external iframe was loaded there.

The website may use technical elements strictly necessary for operation, security, WordPress administration and retention of user choices. They are not used to create advertising profiles.

If UKIYO later adds non-essential trackers, visitors will be informed and consent will be obtained before placement where required. This policy will then be updated.

You may configure your browser to remove or block certain cookies. Blocking a strictly necessary element may impair website operation.
