The contractual framework intended for future orders of UKIYO creations.
1. Seller and scope
To be completed with the seller’s legal identity, customer categories, territory and effective date.
2. Products and customisation
The final terms must accurately describe each watch or service, its essential characteristics, the degree of customisation and the tolerances inherent in handcrafted work.
To be completed: actual catalogue, confirmed materials, approval process and scope of handcrafted variations.
3. Prices, quotations and payment
To be completed: VAT-inclusive prices or quotation method, currency, any deposit, payment methods, schedule and invoicing.
4. Ordering and formation of contract
To be completed: ordering steps, quotation approval, error correction, written confirmation and contract archiving.
5. Production, delivery and transfer of risk
To be completed: realistic lead times, carriers, territories, costs, insurance, reservations and damage procedure.
6. Withdrawal, returns and customised pieces
French law generally provides a withdrawal period for distance contracts, subject to statutory exceptions, including for certain goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. The precise application must be assessed for each product.
7. Statutory guarantees and after-sales service
To be completed without limiting statutory rights: conformity, hidden defects, handling process, servicing and repairs.
8. Complaints and consumer mediation
To be completed: complaint procedure and contact details of the consumer mediator actually appointed by UKIYO.
