Withdrawal, returns and mediation

Last updated: 14 September 2026

Right of withdrawal

For a distance order involving a standard catalogue model, you have fourteen calendar days from the day after receiving the watch to withdraw without giving a reason. If the final day falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the period extends to the next working day.

UKIYO exclusively offers models from its catalogue, without personalisation. Manufacturing a catalogue model after order does not remove the right of withdrawal.

Before the period expires, send the form below or another clear statement of your decision to contact@ukiyowatches.com.

Simply returning the watch or refusing delivery is not sufficient to communicate withdrawal.

Return after withdrawal

After notification, return the watch within fourteen days to:

EURL UKIYO 264 rue de Lancrel 61000 Alençon France

Direct return costs following withdrawal are payable by you. Given the watch’s value, UKIYO recommends tracked shipping, insurance for the full value and delivery against signature. Contacting UKIYO is recommended but is neither prior authorisation nor a condition of withdrawal. Use suitable protective packaging.

The watch must be complete with its accessories and documentation and, where possible, its packaging. Absence of original packaging alone does not remove the right of withdrawal. A deduction may relate only to diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the watch.

Reimbursement

UKIYO refunds payments received, including standard initial delivery cost, within fourteen days of being informed of withdrawal. Reimbursement may be withheld until UKIYO recovers the watch or receives evidence that it has been dispatched, whichever occurs first.

Reimbursement is made by bank transfer, the original payment method, unless another method is expressly agreed without cost. Any supplement for a delivery method more expensive than the standard method offered is not refunded.

Return for defect or non-conformity

For a defect, delivery damage or non-conformity, promptly contact contact@ukiyowatches.com, describe the issue and, where possible, attach photographs.

After an initial assessment, UKIYO will supply return instructions and arrange tracked transport with signature on delivery where guarantee coverage appears justified. Return costs for a watch confirmed as defective or non-conforming are paid by UKIYO in accordance with the law.

This procedure does not limit the statutory conformity guarantee or the guarantee against hidden defects.

Complaint

Complaints must first be sent in writing to contact@ukiyowatches.com. State your contact details, quotation or invoice reference, serial number if the watch has been delivered, and a precise description of the issue.

UKIYO will endeavour to offer an amicable solution within a reasonable time.

Consumer mediation

If your prior written complaint has not resolved the dispute, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge.

In accordance with the French Consumer Code, after a prior complaint to UKIYO has not resolved the matter, you may use the following mediator free of charge:

CM2C
49 rue de Ponthieu
75008 Paris, France
Tel.: 01 89 47 00 14
Website: https://www.cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php
Email: litiges@cm2c.net

Mediation does not prevent either party from bringing proceedings before a competent court.
